My snare is usually rotating and I’ve found some great mixes with various black beauties, Tama bell brass, and black panther snares as well as a few really cool eclectic snares across different libraries. For example the Rock Foundry’s Yamaha PHX kick drum combined with the Tama Bubinga kick in Metal Machinery is my absolute go-to bass drum. 27! That’s insane detail and it absolutely stands out against some of the legacy hi-hat sample libraries that have been around for a while.įor me, I stack just about every drum and a few of my cymbals and find that you can blend some really nice snares and kicks using different libraries. ![]() ![]() Just as an example, the D&D hi-hats have 27 articulations. Completely agree that with Decades and D&D, you get some incredible articulation response and that the kits as a result are very versatile.
